2023 MIT Update

We just finished our second competition of the season at MIT!! While the competition was tight, the team gave a stellar performance and we placed fifth overall. Grace ‘24 and Skylar ‘24 placed first in pre-juvenile freeskate and high beginner respectively. Sasha ‘26 had two first place finishes, one in senior free dance and the other in international pattern dance. Top three placements were made by Maddie ‘25, Sarah ‘23, Elena ‘25, Nathaniel ‘25, Julianna ‘26, Claire ‘24,6, Victoria ‘24, David ‘23, and Claire ‘24. Maneuvers teams skated strong, with low team and intermediate team placing third. Special thanks to Joann, Coach Jacki, and all of the staff and volunteers at MIT in order to make this event possible! Also shoutout to all the parents and alums who came to support us in the stands!

Now that we are back on campus, we will continue to practice in preparation for our next competition at Utica. Additionally, the team will be performing an exhibition during winter carnival.
