SUMMER 2019 UPDATE

Fall term and the start of our 2019-2020 season are less than a week away and we are so excited! Before everyone heads back to campus, let’s take a look at what some of our skaters have ben up to this summer…

Mia ‘20 (left) and Charlotte ‘20 (right) are both interning in New York City! Mia is working in tech while Charlotte is in finance and they have enjoyed getting to explore the city on weekends. 🍎 🌃

Sherrina ‘21 (left) and Darya ‘21 (right) have swapped their skates for dancing shoes during their sophomore summer as members of Splendaplum and Shebalite! 💃🏻

Emma ‘20 (left) is also in D.C. this summer where she is working at a nonprofit. On the Fourth of July, she was even able to meet up with DFSC alumna Rachel ‘18 (right)! 🌲

Zac ‘20 is abroad for the summer! He has been in Arusha, Tanzania working for a nonprofit that serves individuals infected by HIV/AIDS. Some of the work Zac has done consists of meeting with and delivering supplies to the most vulnerable members of local communities.

Honora ‘20 has been spending her summer at home in Jackson Hole, Wyoming where she is interning at a local microbiology lab. In her free time, she has loved spending time outdoors hiking and hanging out with family and friends! ⛰ ☀️

Can’t wait to see everyone next week and get back on the ice at Thompson Arena!
