2021-2022 Season Captain's Letter

Hello Friends of DFSC!

We are thrilled to be writing this letter with all of us back on campus, experiencing Dartmouth in person again. The team is in the midst of transitioning back to a somewhat “normal” season and we can’t wait to travel to competitions and revive DFSC traditions. We are so proud of the resilience of the DFSC community and last seasons’ leadership over the last few months and are excited for what is in store for the rest of the season!

DFSC has been a backbone to our Dartmouth experiences, without which we couldn’t have formed long-lasting friendships and continue a sport we love. We welcomed eight wonderful new members to the team: ‘25s, ‘24s and graduate students, and we can’t wait to share DFSC traditions with them this year. There is a palpable energy on the ice as the team steps back out on Thompson and trains all together again, which has just been amazing! This season, we are focusing on getting back into training for competitions as well as team bonding (in person!) We feel privileged to lead DFSC through this transition season and are honored to consider ourselves part of the DFSC family for many years to come!

Additionally, we would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for our Friends and Family, without whom the success of our team would not be possible. We have loved seeing your support through our social media pages and personal messages, and are excited to (hopefully) see many of you on the stands at competitions! We are so grateful for your continued support with which we are able to have the resources and access to opportunities like competitions. We hope everyone is continuing to stay safe and we look forward to updating you all on what happens next!
