2023 Nationals Update

What an exciting weekend!! We are so happy to announce that we placed FIFTH in the nation out of sixteen teams! The team left it all out on the ice and we are so proud of the skates we put out. Overall, nationals was a great end to our season.

Special shoutout to our captains, David and Sarah, for leading this team through a challenging season with a hard-fought nationals qualification. They were an indispensable part of the team, looking after us both on and off the ice. They both delivered beautiful and clean final skates in LA to wrap up their intercollegiate skating career. 

Thank you to Jacki and Joann - we cannot express how grateful we are to have such a  supportive coach and administrator with us through it all. Another shoutout to all of the parents, friends, and family who came to cheer us on - whether it was in person or virtual - we definitely heard you when skating out there. Your enthusiasm, care, and support for us encouraged us to skate not only for ourselves but for our community.

This competition wouldn’t have been possible without the hospitality of our hosts, UCLA. Thank you for organizing such a well-run competition.

And last but not least, a huge congratulations to all the other teams that competed this weekend! It was great to share the ice with you.
