2024 Nationals Update

We are back after an action-packed weekend at nationals, and we are super excited to share that we placed THIRD!!!!! We are incredibly proud of the amazing skates from everyone throughout the entire weekend, and we could not have done it without your support. 

We would like to give a special shoutout to our captains, Grace Chen and Claire Macedonia, for their fierce leadership throughout the entire season. Together, they have motivated and guided us through the lows and celebrated with us through the highs.  All of our precious seniors (Grace, Claire, Elizabeth Ding, Jessica Li, Rebecca Liu, Victoria Shaw, and Skylar Wiseman) delivered beautifully clean skates to wrap up their intercollegiate skating career. We are sad to let them go, but we are incredibly grateful that they will always be part of the DFSC family. 

Additionally, thank you to our coach Jacki for your constant, invaluable guidance and support through this season. Thank you to J.B. Weber, Cam Neele, Heather Somers, and Joann Brislin  as well for all the administrative support they provided. We would also like to shout out all of the friends and family that have cheered us on! Your encouragement drives us to skate to the best of our ability for this beloved community. Whether you were at home or in the stands at Lake Placid, we are immensely appreciative of all of your support.

Finally, thank you to the Lake Placid Olympic Center for hosting such a special and well-run competition, and congratulations to all the skaters from the other fifteen schools that competed this weekend! It was an unforgettable experience skating with everyone, and we are already looking forward to next season!
